Record Ratings:  Almost everything is mint or near-mint unless stated otherwise.  Ask for specifics if you need them.  I sell very few albums with a VG+ or lower rating.  Records rated RECORD/COVER, using the terms Mint, Near-Mint (NM), Excellent or Very Good Plus (EX or VG+).

Shipping Charges:  I will charge you for the box, postage, mandatory insurance in the U. S., and a few cents for tape, label, packing material.  I don’t make profit on postage, so you’ll get a good deal here.  I usually ship Media Mail to keep things cheap, but if you want to pay extra, I can ship Priority Mail.  International Customers usually pay about 50 - 75 cents more than the actual cost because of all the time it takes to fill out the ridiculous customs and insurance forms!   I know it’s not your fault that you live overseas, but my time has SOME value to it, even if it’s not much!

“GOIN’ ON”/ “ENDLESS HARMONY”  [Caribou Records ZS9-9032 45 RPM single is in near-mint condition, and the Caribou Records sleeve is in excellent condition.]

GOING PUBLIC  [Bruce Johnston’s 1977 “GOING PUBLIC” LP was really more of a demo album than anything, as he was pushing his songwriting skills on the basis of winning a Grammy for “I Write The Songs.”  That tune in addition to new versions of “Deirdre” and “Disney Girls” are on here (new versions), as well as “Don’t Be Scared,” “Rock and Roll Survivor,” “Thank You Baby,” “Rendezvous” (a hit for the Hudson Brothers -- I like Bruce’s version better), the sappy “Won’t Somebody Dance With Me,” and a bizarre version of “Pipeline” that has to be heard to be believed!  Columbia 34459 was produced by the legendary Gary Usher!  Contains original record sleeve.  Album is in excellent condition.  Cover has cover clipped, but is in near-mint condition, with the shrink-wrap still on it.]

“PIPELINE”  [Here it is, you Beach Boys’ completists!  It’s the 12” Disco Single version of Bruce Johnston’s “Pipeline,” which as to be heard to be believed.  And, you know, I like it much better than the Beach Boys’ own discofied “Here Comes The Night.”  This is a promotional copy with a white label, and one side contains a 6:30 version different from the one featured on Bruce’s “Going Public” album, while the other side contains a special disco version of the Beach Boys’ song “Deirdre!” Both sides were produced by the legendary Gary Usher, and the disco remix of “Pipeline” was handled by Curt Becher! Stereo all-round, and the record is near-mint.  The cover is VG++, with minor ring wear and some mild discoloration due to aging.]

“ROCK ‘N’ ROLL TO THE RESCUE” [Capitol 12” Single V-15234 contains the 33 1/3 RPM single of “Rock ‘n’ Roll to the Rescue,” co-written by Mike Love and Terry Melcher.  Beach Boys single is from “the forthcoming LP “MADE IN THE U.S.A,” and this release contains FOUR versions of the song!  First is the “Beach Party Mix” that’s 6:31 in length, then the “Percadella Mix” that is 3:49 in length.  On side two is the 3:42 single version, as well as the 4:19 instrumental version!  Both single and promotional cardboard sleeve are in mint condition, having only been played once.  Promotional sticker features prominently on black cardboard sleeve.]

STACK O’ TRACKS  [This album was released by EMI/UK back in the ‘70s, I believe.  It doesn’t look like the U. S. version of “Stack O’ Tracks,” but the music is the same.  Cover shows lots of tape reels of Beach Boys songs. Lovely British pressing with hard cardboard sleeve containing lyrics so you can sing along.  A teeny-tiny punch hole is all that mars the album cover, which is still shrink-wrapped.  Album is shiny and near mint.]

SURFIN’ ‘ROUND THE WORLD  [This rare Japanese Sony CD (SRCS 6104) contains the early ‘60s Bruce Johnston record SURFIN’ ‘ROUND THE WORLD.  Twelve tracks in all, including the great “Jersey Channel Islands-Part 7” and “The Hamptons.”  Beach Boys fans will want this very early piece of the surf music jigsaw puzzle in their collection.  CD and inserts, which contains all sorts of Japanese symbols, are in mint condition.]

Cover is in excellent condition, and both LPs are in near-mint condition, having only been played twice. They're shiny and new!]

CHUCK BERRY:

THE LONDON CHUCK BERRY SESSIONS [Chess album CH-9295 is a promotional release in near-mint condition, both album and cover.  Album was a big hit for Chuck Berry in 1972, and it includes some new studio rockers and three live cuts, one of which is the 11:33 unedited version of “My Ding-A-Ling!”  Gold star stuck on the front cover.]

BREAD (AND RELATED):

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN  [Released in 1980, FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN (Elektra 6E-251) by David Gates contains some great songs, including the title cut, "Can I Call You," "Where Does The Lovin' Go," and others.  Produced and arranged and written by Gates, the album also features Mike Botts and Larry Knechtel of Bread in some songs.   This album is in mint condition, as is the cover, which is still shrink-wrapped.]  (CO)

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN  [Same as above, only SEALED]  (CO)

HEY RICKY (Melissa Manchester album)  [I’ll bet many Bread fans don’t know about and/or possess a copy of the song “Wish We Were Heroes.”  It was a duet featuring David Gates from back in 1982 that only appeared on Melissa Manchester’s superb album HEY RICKY.  The album was best known for the hit song “You Should Hear How She Talks About You,” but David Gates fans will want it to hear his voice blend seamlessly with Manchester’s.  In addition, Gates plays guitar on this track.  He was a label-mate of Manchester’s at the time at Arista, which is probably why this duet was set up. Album and cover (Arista AL 9574) are in near-mint condition, although there’s a bizarre area of the cover that looks like it wasn’t properly printed on. I’ve seen other copies of this album and you don’t see this printing error.  So maybe this copy is rare for that reason as well!]

LOST WITHOUT YOUR LOVE  [Bread’s sixth and final album is the only one that has never been released on CD.  The album was released in 1977, and features some excellent tunes by the team of David Gates and James Griffin.  Songs like "Belonging," "Hooked On You," "She's The Only One," "Lay Your Money  Down" and others are every bit as good as some of their better-known songs.  Produced and arranged by David Gates, the album and cover are in near-mint condition.]  (CO)

“LOST WITHOUT YOUR LOVE”  [Bread 45 RPM single from 1976, with “Change of Heart” on the flip side.  Record is in excellent condition.  Didn’t come with picture sleeve.]

TAKE ME NOW  [Released in 1981, TAKE ME NOW (Arista AL-9563) is one of David Gates’ best solo albums. Some of the excellent songs include "It's you," "She's a Heartbreaker," the gorgeous "Come Home For Christmas," "Vanity," and others. Some real rockers thrown in with the typically superb Gates' ballads.  Produced and arranged and written by Gates, the album also features Mike Botts and Larry Knechtel of Bread in some songs.  This album is in mint condition, as is the cover, which is still shrink-wrapped.  Original lyrics sleeve is enclosed.]  (CO)

TAKE ME NOW  [Same as above, only SEALED.]  (CO)

THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE:

THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE  [Buddah BDS-5065 is NOT the more common version with “The Worst That Could Happen,” but is their 1970 release featuring “For What It’s Worth,” “Nights In White Satin,” “Down By The River,” and six others.  In near-mint condition and still shrink-wrapped.  (CO)]

THE CRITTERS:

TOUCH 'N GO WITH THE CRITTERS  [Here's a re-release of a rare ‘60s album.  The Critters, who gave us "Younger Girl" and "Mr. Dyeingly Sad," were back for their third and last album, TOUCH 'N GO WITH THE CRITTERS, released on Project 3 PR 4001 SD.  This mint album is still shrink-wrapped and sounds fabulous.  It appears to be an exact duplicate of the original, and it contains songs by Bonner/Gordon, T. Hardin, John Sebastian, and lots by Jimmy Ryan of the group, and it's got a harder edge than their earlier songs.]

JIM CROCE:

THE FACES I’VE BEEN  [Never released on CD, 1975 2-LP set Lifesong LS 900 contains lots of rare tracks, including live “raps” featured in Croce’s concert appearances.  Produced by Terry Cashman and Tommy West.  Albums are in near-mint condition, and fold-open cover is in excellent condtion.]

SWEET SWEET  [Near-mint Alfa AAB-11007.  With original lyric sleeve]

EGAN, WALTER

FUNDAMENTAL ROLL  [Another excellent album by Egan, this release was produced by Lindsey Buckingham and Steveie Nicks as well as Egan and Duane Scott.  Buckingham and Nicks contribute background vocals to many of the songs, and Buckingham adds some guitar work as well.  Album and cover showing Walter with two VERY young girls are in near-mint condition.  Comes with inner sleeve with full credits.]

NOT SHY  [Here's the incredibly rare album by Walter Egan, and this 1978 CBS offering is not rare and desired just because Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac produced it, sang on it, and played some guitar, and also not because Stevie Nicks added background vocals as well.  And also not because Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean designed the album.  No, it's also a fabulous pop-rock album, even though the only song most people know is "Magnet and Steel."  But there isn't a weak track on the recording.  Usually, copies of "Not Shy" are in terribly shape, and most of them seem to be promos as well.  Well, this is a stock copy, and the record is in near-mint condition.  The cover is in excellent to near-mint condition, and doesn’t have the ringwear that most copies of this nearly-all-black cover have.  Contains inner sleeve with full credits.]

THE EVERLY BROTHERS (AND SOLO EVERLYS):

BORN YESTERDAY [From 1986, this excellent Everly Brothers’ Mercury album (826142) features “Amanda Ruth,” “Thinkin’ ‘Bout you,” Mark Knopfler’s “Why Worry,” Bob Dylan’s “Abandoned Love,” and more, including one song by Don Everly.  This album is in mint condition.  Cover is still shrink-wrapped.]

EB ‘84  [Superb Mercury album (822431) recorded in 1984, featuring Paul McCartney’s “On The Wings Of A Nightingale,” Bob Dylan’s “Lay, Lady, Lay,” “The Story of Me” by Jeff Lynne, and others, including three penned by Don Everly.  One of The Everly Brothers’ best releases.  Album is mint, having only been played once to record it.  Album is in mint condition, with the cover shrink-wrapped and with a notch in the cover.]

THE EVERLY BROTHERS REUNION CONCERT  [Famous (and justifiably so) concert recorded at The Albert Hall on 9/23/83, this 2-LP set contains 28 songs, from old classics to more contemporary classics.  Passport Records PB-11001 has a fold-open cover that is still shrink-wrapped, with a small notch in it.  Albums are in mint condition.]

THE LONDON SESSIONS [Extremely enjoyable two-fer of Phil’s solo work, with both MYSTIC LINE and THERE’S NOTHING TOO GOOD FOR MY BABY (PHIL’S DINER) presented in their entirety, with bonus tracks as well.  1974 & 1975 releases treated in superb digital fashion on Sequel NEX CD 164.  In near-mint condition.  UK release.]

PASS THE CHICKEN AND LISTEN [Superb EB album from 1972, this compact disc (One Way Records OW-34508) is in near-mint condition.  Great tunes like “Lay It down,” “Not Fade Away,” “Sweet Memories,” and more.  Produced by Chet Atkins.]

PHIL EVERLY [One of Phil’s strongest works, this contains 11 excellent songs including his hit recording made with Cliff Richard, “She Means Nothing To Me.”  Cliff also appears on “I’ll Mend Your Broken Heart.”  1983 UK import Capitol EST-27670 is in mint condition.  Cover is in excellent condition with only some slight ringwear on the front marring it.  Promotional sticker on cover.]

ROOTS [Renowned EB album from 1968, this has become difficult to find on CD.  Warner Archives 26927 compact disc is in near-mint condition.  Songs from their childhood like “You Done Me Wrong,” “Mama Tried,” “Shady Grove,” and more.  Produced by Lenny Waronker.]

SOME HEARTS... [The Everly Brothers’ third and last Mercury album, this 1988 compact disc release (PolyGram Records 832-520) contains ten tracks, many written by the Everly Brothers, with one notable exception being Brian Wilson’s “Don’t Worry Baby.”  CD is in near-mint condition.  Produced by The Everly Brothers.]

STAR SPANGLED SPRINGER  [This hard-to-find RCA album from 1973 (APL1-0092) is an excellent solo release from Phil Everly, and it includes versions of “The Air That I Breathe” (done before The Hollies) as well as 9 songs co-written by Phil Everly!  I believe this is a special promo issue, since there’s a note to Phil on the back to the president and members of “Everly Brothers International” that looks to be photocopied on the back of the album.   I might be wrong here, so don’t hold me to it, but I’ve seen some of these “cheap-looking” additions on the backs of other albums that definitely were used on promo copies.  Cover is near-mint, as is album!]

STORIES WE COULD TELL [Another excellent album from the brothers, RCA Victor LSP-4620 is a promotional copy, and contains great tunes like “Green River,” “Mandolin Wind,” “The Brand New Tennessee Waltz,” and others.  1972 album is in near-mint condition, while the cover is VG, with some ring wear and minor wear along edges.]

THE 4 SEASONS (FRANKIE VALLI):

A DREAM OF KINGS  [This rare and out-of-print soundtrack album (aren’t almost all LPs out-of-print?) contains Alex North’s score for the little-seen motion picture A DREAM OF KINGS, starring Anthony Quinn.  It was released on the tiny National General Records label, one reason why it’s never appeared on CD.  NG-1000 is a near-mint copy, with only a punch hole marring the still-shrink-wrapped cover.  In addition to a whole bunch of original score cues by Alex North, a song “inspired” by the picture was written and produced by Bob Gaudio of Four Seasons fame, and sung by Frankie Valli, also of 4 Seasons fame!  So soundtrack fans and Frankie Valli fans will each have a reason to want this hard-to-find recording.]

“EAST MEETS WEST” [Very rare FBI 45 single (FBS-7701 stereo) was a collaboration between The 4 Seasons and The Beach Boys.  Flips side has “Rhapsody” by The 4 Seasons.  Record is in mint condition with label having a small marker line on the flip side.]

EDIZIONE D’ORO [This is the 29-track 2-record set with the fold-open cover that contains some newly-remixed versions of classic 4 Seasons’ songs.  Philips PHS 2-6501 stereo is in mint condition, having only been played once.  Cover has some corner folds but is otherwise in VG+ condition.  Gorgeous gold-covered presentation!]

THE 4 SEASONS SING BIG HITS BY BURT BACHARACH/HAL DAVID/BOB DYLAN  [A fun album with some fascinating performances, this is the Rhino re-release (70248), in mint condition and still-shrinkwrapped.  Some writing on the shrink-wrap and a small notch are the only things that mar the cover.]

THE GENUINE IMITATION LIFE GAZETTE  [Classic experimental Four Seasons album from 1969, Philips stereo PHS 600-290 contains the classic fold-open newspaper cover design, with lots of fun-filled reading!  Album is in mint condition, having only been played once.  There are some clicks and pops on the record, inherent in the pressing.  A small punch-hole is the only thing that mars the cover.]

THE GENUINE IMITATION LIFE GAZETTE  [Classic experimental Four Seasons album from 1969, Philips stereo PHS 600-290 contains the classic fold-open newspaper cover design, with lots of fun-filled reading!  White-labeled promo is in VG to VG+ condition, with a small seam-split on the bottom, and some minor yellowing and signs of age on the cover.]

HELICON  [Terrific 1977 album (Warner Brothers BS-3016) is in SEALED condition, with only a notch marring the cover.]

“SEASONS OF GOLD”/“LOLITA”  [45 RPM single by Gidea Park (aka Adrian Baker), offering a faithful medley of ten 4 Seasons’ songs.  Profile 5003 from 1981 is in near-mint condition.]

ART GARFUNKEL:

LEFTY [I believe this is the only Art Garfunkel album not available on CD, and that’s too bad, as 1988’s LEFTY (CBS 40942) is a very enjoyable album from the “singing” half of Simon and Garfunkel. Contains songs like “King Of Tonga,” “This Is The Moment,” “When A Man Loves A Woman,” and others, with songwriters like Stephen Bishop and David Foster.  The sleeve has a promo stamp on it and is in near-mint condition for a promo. The album is in near-mint condition, with a very quiet pressing.  It was only played once to record it.]

JUSTIN HAYWARD  (THE MOODY BLUES):

“BLUE GUITAR” [45 RPM single from Justin Hayward and John Lodge, TH-67021 is in excellent condition.  The picture sleeve is in excellent condition except for a small tear in image where price tag used to be.]

HONK:

FIVE SUMMER STORIES  [This is a super-rare surfing soundtrack!  The Granite Music Corp. release from 1972 (Stereo GR-772) is from a film so rare it is barely mentioned anywhere.  Can’t even find it on the IMDB!  The music is by “Honk,” who apparently were a musical group whose members included Steve Wood, Tris Imboden, Don Whaley, Beth Fitchet, Craig Buhler, and Richard Stekol.  If they’re still around as a group today, my sincere apologies.  The album is an interesting mix of country, surf, and a bunch of other things I can’t put my fingers on.  Some vocals, some instrumentals.  For the record, back in 1972 “Honk lives in the hills in Laguna Beach,” although we don’t know if they lived together in some commune environment or merely as neighbors.  All of the songs were written by the group.  The album cover is in excellent condition, with just a few minor marks on the back.  Album is in near-mint condition, and I don’t think it was ever played.]

THE JAGGERZ

WE WENT TO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS TOGETHER [Kama Sutra KSBS-2017 contains the group’s big hit “The Rapper” and eleven others.  Dominic Ierace (Donny Iris) wrote the hit and many other songs on the album.  In near-mint condition.  Cover is excellent.]

TOM JOHNSTON  (THE DOOBIE BROTHERS):

EVERYTHING YOU’VE HEARD IS TRUE  [From the early leader of The Doobie Brothers, this 1979 album is an excellent rocker!  Album is in mint condition and inner sleeve contains song lyrics.]

STILL FEELS GOOD [Another fun rocker from the first leader of The Doobie Brothers, this 1981 album is in mint condition, with a punch hole in the cover.]

ANDY KIM:

ANDY KIM  [Hard-to-find Uni album (73137) is one of Kim’s best releases.  Very much like Neil Diamond’s singing and writing when he was recording his classic albums for the same label.  Album in in near-mint condition.  Cover has some edge scratches, but otherwise excellent.  (CO)]

THE KINKS:

PERCY & THE ALBUM THAT NEVER WAS [This 23-track CD from 1993 is a Japanese release celebrating The Kinks “30th Anniversary” on the RCA Victor label. VICP-5331 contains all 13 tracks from PERCY, with songs by Ray Davies, as well as Dave Davies’ unreleased solo album, called “The Album That Never Was.”  Tracks from the latter include “Mindless Child of Motherhood,” “LincolnCounty,” “Funny Face,” “Love Me Till The Sun Shines,” “This Man He Weeps Tonight,” “Creepin’ Jean,” and others.  CD is in near mint condition with all inserts, including the OBI!]

EVERYTHING PLAYING  [Kama Sutra KLPS-8061 stereo is a very underrated album from the Spoonful.  Besides hits like “Younger Generation” and “Six O’Clock,” there are gems like “Old Folks,” “Money,” “Boredom,” and others.]  (VG+/VG+) (CO)

HUMS OF THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL  [Most eclectic and mature album from the group, KLPS-8054 stereo is in excellent condition, with a near-mint cover.  Gorgeous copy of superb album.]  (CO)
